So, I doubt you’ll take anything I say and/or do and put it towards your own life lessons, which is more than okay. It’s expected, honestly. I am not a Baz Luhrmann, everybody’s free to wear sunscreen, song. This is just a way for me to keep grounded and for you to get a five or ten minute reprieve of whatever you’re doing or going through with maybe a laugh or something. But please, please, take this with you wherever you go and end up in life: if ever you feel lost travelling (something I’m feeling today), or in your own neighbourhood, or in life or some current endeavour – stop. Stop what you’re doing (well, maybe after reading this post) and go to a bookstore. Or better yet, a library. Explore unchartered territory and get lost in a different, a little more controlled, way. A choose your own adventure, if you will. I promise you, you will feel at home immediately and will soon be back to some resemblance of your former self. If you can do it with a cuppa tea, all the better.
Take care of yourself, friend.
